Ace of Swords is a card used in Latin suited playing cards which include tarot decks. It is part of what tarot card readers call the "Minor Arcana"Tarot cards are used throughout much of Europe to play Tarot card games[1].

In English-speaking countries, where the games are largely unknown, Tarot cards came to be utilized primarily for divinatory purposes[1][2].

This card depicts a hand from the heavens holding a sword crowned with a king's crown. Surrounding the sword, are six yods of divine power.

The card depicts a hollow victory for the querent. The querent seems to have overcome great tribulation with cosmic help and/or his own fortitude.

It also depicts reversal of fortune and/or divine help.
