Acacia falcata is a perennial shrub or tree found in Asia, Australia and New Zealand. Some common names for it are Burra, Sally, Sickle-shaped Acacia and Silver-leaved Wattle.[1] It grows up to 4m tall.[2]

Australian indigenous people use the bark to make a liniment for treating ailments of the skin.[3] A. falcata is excellent for stabilizing barren sand. The bark is important in the tanning industry.[4]
