Hello - and welcome to The Fancruft Manifesto!!! Bring on the diluted synth prog!!!
The aim - to assist in and to generate the proper recording of notable underground musicians and artists. This is my area of expertise, the thing I know most about and can show most about. If you have a problem with that, ask yourself how a project like Wikipedia will survive without people with the energy and enthusiasm to update, add and discuss their specialist subjects. What would you actually have?
The activity - Neil Campbell, Matthew Bower, Volcano The Bear, Alex Neilson, Lea Cummings, A Band, Simon Wickham-Smith, Vibracathedral Orchestra, Nurse With Wound, Craig Scanlon, David Jackman and, probably most to the point, an extensive upgrade for Richard Youngs; anyone having any additional info on any R!!! release, especially pre-Advent, please make thyself known.
Did a bunch of Nurse With Wound albums, should really do some more. Anyone fancy a Sugar Fish Drink?
The Fall - The Official Best Thing In The Universe Ever (hey, it's a userpage, I can opinionate...) - a few things needed done so the gaps in the studio discography have been duly plugged - Middle Class Revolt, Cerebral Caustic, The Light User Syndrome and Levitate are now there, Fall In a Hole deserved an article, as did The Twenty-Seven Points. Some corrective and additional work done to Room to Live, Dragnet and Perverted By Language amongst others; Basically, if it's an album and it's by The Fall, I've been sticking my nose in. Added the Holy Grail of Falldom, The Complete Peel Sessions 1978–2004 as well. Took ages, that did. I'm going to do a couple of those live albums (just done Live in London 1980, Live 1977 and Touch Sensitive... Bootleg Box Set, fool that I am) but I ain't doing 'em all. Live From The Vaults? Nein danke! Since individual group members are now being worked through, I added the genius that is Craig Scanlon. I did the bulk of the work on the Members of The Fall article so that's probably that.
The future - presently under consideration - Colin Potter really should be here, maybe Andrew Chalk (but he's so determindly underground that it would be tough to support), Chocolate Monk (label), Beta-lactam Ring Records and so on. There's always more to be said. Things change all the time....
