[edit] PROD2 of Dwyer function

I noticed that you added a PROD2 template to Dwyer function as a way of trying to oppose the proposed deletion. This is a mistake as the PROD2 template is intended to indicate that you "endorse the proposal to delete". To oppose it, if that is really what you want to do, "you may remove [the PROD templates] if you improve the article or otherwise object to its deletion for any reason. To avoid confusion, it helps to explain why you object to the deletion, either in the edit summary or on the talk page." In other words, you remove all the PRODs rather than add another one to save the article. JRSpriggs (talk) 12:52, 22 April 2008 (UTC)

I removed the PROD because the article was AfD'ed (see next section of talk). Having both of them at the same time seems inappropriate to me (normally AfD is the next step taken by those who want to delete an article, after their PROD is removed). You seemed to want to save the article, but not to realize that you have permission to remove the PROD, and indeed someone must remove it to achieve that objective.
