[edit] Info from Wikipedia:Image sleuthing
- Used in History of Athens
- I don't have source, but the content, style and damage places it at 1800-1830, probably PD.
http://www.costopoulosfoundation.org/jfcf/romanticeyes/rom-en.html has some PD images with proper source (though none are quite a replacement) — Zeimusu | Talk 14:36, 2005 Jan 28 (UTC)
- The painting shows buildings that were taken down right after the Ottomans left Athens in 1833. I don't see how the painting could be from much later than that. I vote to tag it ((PD-art)).
- I second that. Bart133 18:38, 29 Jan 2005 (UTC)
