List of the University of North Texas' persons?
- I'm afraid I don't quite understand the reasoning behind changing the name of this article. The original style ("List of University of North Texas people") is the same as that used in all of the similar articles under the Lists of people by university affiliation - USA category (for example, List of University of Texas at Austin people and List of Stanford University people). Let me know if there's something I'm missing here... — Hedgey42 20:11, 8 March 2006 (UTC)

I am ticked off
Seriously... I'm logged in, and I can't even edit my own User Page!!!!!--Ac1983fan 14:17, 15 March 2006 (UTC)
- And it's all because I'm using this at a maine state library IP, and the other users are immature jerks....--Ac1983fan 14:18, 15 March 2006 (UTC)
- Serious cases of vandalism might have led the administrators to block the particular IP addresses. You can report your problems on this link http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Administrator's_noticeboard. --Andy123 14:56, 15 March 2006 (UTC)
- I CAN'T EDIT THE PAGE BECAUSE I'M AT SCHOOL AND MY SCHOOL USES THE MAINE STATE LIBRARY IP'S AND PEOPLE FROM THOSE IP'S CANNOT EDIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!--Ac1983fan 18:34, 15 March 2006 (UTC)
- Has your school network blocked this or has the Wikipedia blocked it? Computerjoe's talk 18:36, 15 March 2006 (UTC)
- Wikipedia has. But its stupid, because the moment the block is lifted, everyone's going to vandalize again... Frigg it...--Ac1983fan 18:38, 15 March 2006 (UTC)
- Please tell me your IP address, and I'll provide you info of the blocking admin so you can contact him/her. Computerjoe's talk 18:43, 15 March 2006 (UTC)

Help Me
Hi. Well, it appears I have been autoblocked because somebody used my wireless network to vandalise. Could someone un-block me please?--acfan-Talk to me 19:18, 26 March 2006 (UTC)
- {{unblock}} is the template you want to use for this case. But anyway, tell me which admin it was, and the IP etc and I'll contact them for you.--Commander Keane 19:23, 26 March 2006 (UTC)
- Thanks.
- Your user name or IP address has been blocked from editing.
- Thanks.
You were blocked by Antandrus for the following reason (see our blocking policy): "Autoblocked because your IP address has been recently used by "Superspam111". The reason given for Superspam111's block is: "vandal account"." Your IP address is 207.5.141.142.

- That's what I get when I try to edit any page other than my User talk page.
Thanks again!--acfan-Talk to me 19:25, 26 March 2006 (UTC)
- Greetings; I'll fix it. Check in about five minutes. Antandrus (talk) 19:33, 26 March 2006 (UTC)
- Ok. Thank you.--acfan-Talk to me 19:34, 26 March 2006 (UTC)
WP:AIV Report
- (NOTE: I added the header acfan-Talk to me)
Hi, Ac1983fan. Regarding a report you made at WP:AIV, you just put it as ===[[User:204.100.220.2]]===, which, when saved, appeared as User:204.100.220.2 in big letters (as it was a heading).
In future, if you're making such a report, can you make it like this: {{subst:vandal|204.100.220.2}}. That will expand into 204.100.220.2 (talk • contribs • page moves • block user • block log). That makes it much easier for the admin to find all the evidence quickly, including what vandalism has been done, whether or not the vandal has been warned, and whether or not he or she has already been blocked by someone else. The vandal has been blocked now. Cheers. AnnH ♫ 21:53, 27 March 2006 (UTC)
- Thanks. I didn't read the big green box on the page right away, and by the time I saw it, someone had already fixed it.--acfan-Talk to me 23:13, 27 March 2006 (UTC)

Thanks for your speedy revert of my move. I'm sorry for taking a hoax as fact. Chris Chan.talk.contribs 11:59, 2 April 2006 (UTC)

Wikipedia_talk:Censorship
A watered-down version of the proposed policy against censorship is now open for voting. Will you kindly review the policy and make your opinions known? Thank you very much.Loom91 18:18, 5 April 2006 (UTC)
Welcome to Esperanza!
Welcome, Ac1983fan/02, to Esperanza, the Wikipedia member association! As you might know, all the Esperanzians share one important goal: the success of this encyclopedia. Within that, we then attempt to strengthen the community bonds, and be the "approachable" side of the project. All of our ideals are held in the Charter, the governing document of the association.
Now that you are a member you should read the guide to what to do now or you may be interested in some of our programs. A quite important program is the StressUnit, which seeks to support editors who have encountered any stress from their Wikipedia events, and are seeking to leave the project. So far, Esperanza can be credited with the support and retention of several users. We will send you newsletters to keep you up to date. Also, we have a calendar of special events, member birthdays, and other holidays that you can add to and follow.
In addition to these projects, several more missions of Esperanza are in development, and are currently being created at Esperanza/Possibles.
I encourage you to take an active voice in the running of Esperanza. We have a small government system, headed by our Administrator general, Celestianpower, and guided by the Advisory Committee comprised of KnowledgeOfSelf, JoanneB, FireFox and Titoxd. The next set of elections will be in April, and I would be glad to see you vote, or even consider running for a position.
If you have any other questions, concerns, comments, or general ideas, Esperanzian or otherwise, know that you can always contact Celestianpower by email or talk page or the Esperanza talk page. Alternatively, you could communicate with fellow users via our IRC channel, #wikipedia-esperanza (which is also good for a fun chat or two :). I thank you for joining Esperanza, and look forward to working with you in making Wikipedia a better place to work!

Suggestbot Problems
I noticed you put yourself down to get suggestions for articles to edit. Sadly you accidently put User:Ac1983fab instead of User:Ac1983fan so it made suggestions for a non-existant user. Just a warning so you can readd yourself to the request list if you want. Jedi6-(need help?) 02:04, 7 April 2006 (UTC)
Did you know? {{prod}} can have a parameter.
Hello there. You have proposed the article Sonic hoax for deletion without providing a reason why in the {{prod}} template. You may be interested to know that you can add your reasoning like that: {{prod|Add reason for deletion here}}. This will make your reasoning show up in the article's deletion notice. It will also aid other users in considering your suggestion on the Proposed Deletions log. See also: How to propose deletion of an article. Sandstein 17:13, 10 April 2006 (UTC)

SuggestBot picks articles in a number of ways based on other articles you've edited, including straight text similarity, following wikilinks, and matching your editing patterns against those of other Wikipedians. It tries to recommend only articles that other Wikipedians have marked as needing work. Your contributions make Wikipedia better -- thanks for helping.
If you have feedback on how to make SuggestBot better, please tell me on SuggestBot's talk page. Thanks from ForteTuba, SuggestBot's caretaker.
P.S. You received these suggestions because your name was listed on the SuggestBot request page. If this was in error, sorry about the confusion. -- SuggestBot 12:47, 11 April 2006 (UTC)

Old Skool Esperanzial note
Since this isn't the result of an AC meeting, I have decided to go Old Skool. This note is to remind you that the elections are taking place now and will end at 23:50 UTC on 2006-04-29. Please vote here. Thanks. --Celestianpower háblame 20:42, 23 April 2006 (UTC)
Chess
Hey, just wanted to remind you that the chess game is still going on! You haven't moved for a couple days, so just wanted to see if you were still there. The game is located here. Later, zappa.jake (talk) 21:42, 23 April 2006 (UTC)
Virtual Console (Nintendo Wii)
Please verify your facts before moving a page. Just like every Nintendo console before it ("Nintendo Entertainment System", "Super Nintendo Entertainment System", "Nintendo 64" and "Nintendo Gamecube"), the "Nintendo Wii" is officially titled just that, with the name "Nintendo" attached, not sans it. Just plain "Wii" is an informal, casual name for it, meant for everyday use, it's not appropriate for use in a Wikipedia title (just as the main Wii article isn't simply titled "Wii".) Dannybu2001 16:24, 28 April 2006 (UTC)
- Okay.... apparently someone did move the page to just "Wii", that cannot be accurate. Dannybu2001 16:27, 28 April 2006 (UTC)
- Sorry, I've moved it back. I think just calling it Wii is going to cause more confusion than anything (it's still technically Nintendo's (as a company) "Wii", but I can't figure how to add that to lessen confusion since "Wii" is already in the parentheses.) Dannybu2001 16:34, 28 April 2006 (UTC)
The Holy thanks
Here are just a few awards I'm awarding you for editing and improving The Holy. You may not think it is a big deal but it is to me.

- ... I am officaly confused.... I only made one edit to the page, and I was reverting some retards vandalism.--Ac1983fan (talk • contribs) 23:09, 29 April 2006 (UTC)
- If General Eisenhower gives you all that for reverting vandalism then I'm scared what he'll do if you make an actual edit! Jedi6-(need help?) 23:15, 29 April 2006 (UTC)
