- This IP has been vandalizing Wikipedia from as long ago as May 2006, occaisionally using deceptive edit summaries such as in this diff. None of its 100+ edits appear to be anything other than vandalism.--Urban Rose 19:41, 3 April 2008 (UTC)
- The unix command 'whois -h whois.illinois.net -p 4321 66.158.73.2' reveals that this IP address belongs to Wilson Creek Elementary School in Manhattan, Illinois. I have added a SharedIPEDU tag to the user talk page.
- It certainly seems like a vandal-only IP, which is not surprising for an elementary school. I believe a very long term schoolblock is in order. I'm no admin, else I'd do it. ~Amatulić (talk) 20:20, 3 April 2008 (UTC)

- By the way, it hear that the IP actually belongs to Union Ridge School District, not Wilson Creek. It still looks like elementary school students to me, but not at that particular school. GO-PCHS-NJROTC (talk) 20:55, 4 April 2008 (UTC)

Wilson Creek Elementary School was called at 815-478-4527 on 04/03/2008. The contact was polite, cooperative, and helpful. I was instructed to send a link for the vandalism log to mcooper AT manhattan114 DOT org.

Their response over the phone was polite, cooperative, and helpful. I don't know if I will get a response via email or not, but I strongly feel this mission is going to be successful.

I spoke with you yesterday. I also spoke with ICN (Illinois Century Network) who administers our router and lines. After checking they said, "This is a problem with our rwhois server giving wrong information."
It is an address from an ICN school but not Wilson Creek. ICN has Union Ridge School in the Chicago area as the ip location,
