[edit] Initial Report
- 216.79.194.96 (talk · contribs · deleted contribs · logs · block user · block log)
- Registered to Guilford County Schools, used in particular by students at Western Guilford High School, Walter Hines Page High School and Grimsley High School, in Greensboro, North Carolina. Whois
Synopsis: Over 400 edits since October 2004, around 95% vandalism, with a few good edits. Blocked 16 times since August 2005. See also this article about the principal of Grimsley, which they've created and keep vandalising, and which I've nominated for deletion. He might be a good guy to contact - he seems no-nonsense, and would probably be amused by his detailed bio, unless it gets deleted first. GTBacchus(talk) 02:42, 4 May 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Abuse Summary
[edit] 216.79.194.96
- 216.79.194.96 (talk · contribs · deleted contribs · logs · block user · block log)
As of 06:00, 4 May 2006 (UTC), this IP had approximately 425 edits, the first being at 17:04, October 29, 2004, to Talk:Tracy McGrady. It has been warned over 25 times and blocked 16 times, the first being on August 30, 2005, the latest at 17:23, May 3, 2006, by 13 different admins. The blocking rationale in all cases was blatant vandalism. Although there have been occasional good edits mixed in, the amount of vandalism far outweighs the benefits of leaving this IP unblocked.
The first explicit edit of vandalism was at 18:43, January 6, 2005, to 2004 Indian Ocean earthquake. A small sampling of the vandalism follows, most recent being listed first. For a complete list, please see the contributions page. All times listed are UTC.

[edit] May 13 2006
As I still have not recieved a reply, I resent my original e-mail at 20:00 UTC in an attempt to make contact. Snoutwood (talk)
- Would you like me to call them? --mboverload@ 02:37, 20 May 2006 (UTC)
- Yes, that would be great. A second user would help. I'll forward you copies of my e-mails so that you're prepped. Thanks a million! Snoutwood (talk) 15:26, 20 May 2006 (UTC)
- No problem! I'll wait until Monday to contact them, plus I'll have to factor in their timezone... =0 --mboverload@ 18:57, 20 May 2006 (UTC)
- Crap I'm sorry. I got tangled up in some things and I completely forgot about contacting. I'm going to do it tomorrow. Sorry! --mboverload@ 01:00, 23 May 2006 (UTC)

[edit] May 23 2006
Attempted contact by phone at 23:55, May 23, 2006 (UTC) which was as early in the day that I could, no answering machine was on the line so I was unable to convey any information to them all all. I fear that my time zone restrictions being on the west coast make me unable to make contact. I will try again tomorrow hopefully in the morning.
Although one of the high schools has its own number, none of the edits with names in them can be linked to a specific high school. I believe that contacting the district directly is the best option. --mboverload@ 23:56, 23 May 2006 (UTC)
[edit] May 25 2006
I have realized that my time restraints prevent me from catching someone on the east coast in the office (it's like 7:30 eastern time when I can start). I am pulling off the case and I sincerely apologize for taking on something that I really was not able to complete. --mboverload@ 10:11, 25 May 2006 (UTC)
