Md Abul Kalam Azad was born in Jessore, Bangladesh, on February 13, 1971. He is married with three children. He studied in Lauri Alia Madrasah, Tamirul Millat Madrasah, Masrasah E Alia Dhaka, Dhaka University, Islamic University Medina, KSA, International Islamic University Malaysia and University of Portsmouth, England. He has been working as a lecturer at International Islamic University Chittagong, Bangladesh, Jamiatul Ummah Sixth Form College, London Open College, and American University in London. He is a prolific writer who contributes in different languages. He has been closely involved in community works in the UK and Bangladesh and has a great passion for educational activities. He has been instrumental in establishing some educational establishments in the UK and Bangaldesh; Quality Education College and Quality Education School in Dhaka are his eductaional children. He plays key roles in other organisations and institutions: Foundation for Quality Education, London; Talent Education Trust in Shundolpur, Monirampur; Mentor International School in Jessore; Time International School in Gulashan, Dhaka; Global Aid in London. He has gained huge experiences in running and managing different educational establishments and has also expereinced in E-governance. Dr Azad has co-authored a text book for Bangladesh Open University titled: Arabic for Daily Life in four volumes. This book has been taught in some other universities and is suitable for self-studies.
