Tsuba. Circular. Copper with wood grain surface and a wide slightly raised and gilded frame, the latter "worm-eaten" Ryo-hitsu of irregular outline, following the wood-grain, the edges gilt. Two tiny udenuki-ana. A spider and fly in high incrustation of shakudo, and cobweb gold. Signed with a kakihan (monogram) Shoami school Alfred Baur Cat. D 109.
