[edit] History
The airline was established in June 2004 and started operations in December 2004.[citation needed] In 2007 ABS Jets has acquired a hangar at Ruzyne Airport as part of a plan to become a key maintenance, repair and overhaul company. It has spent 6.7 million Euros ($8.9 million) at the airport so far and is expected to invest a further 11 million Euros ($14.7 million) in infrastructure over the next two years, resulting in some 11,000 square meters (118,407 sq ft.) of maintenance facilities at the airport by mid-2009. It has been certified as an Embraer Executive Aircraft Service Centre[2].
ABS Jets is owned by Czech and Slovak investment group J&T and is a member of the European Business Aviation Association (EBAA)[3].
