I began contributing on February 20, 2004 as a result of repeated linking and the addition of a wikipedia search in my installation of Mozilla FireFox. I'm currently at 655 edits, and still going strong. I spend a fair amount of time each day making sure that the pages I've contributed to are still up to snuff.
I am currently an Engineer living and working in Seattle, Washington. My degree is in Aerospace Engineering with a minor in physics.
I lived in Tucson for 7 years over the course of my stay at the University of Arizona. During my time there, I definitely came to understand that Tucson is hot in the summer, mild in the winter, dusty year-round, and smells like a sewer at night. The Roger Road Sewage Treatment Plant is many miles from where you may be living, but at night the whole city stinks.
I hail originally from Albuquerque, New Mexico. I lived there 18 years and get back whenever I can. That's partially due to the passion that New Mexicans have for our green chile. It's the state pasttime to get together at a great New Mexican restaurant and have good New Mexican food.
Anyway, I may contribute in a lot of different ways - I have a way of both wasting time and knowing a lot about a few things, a little about a lot of things, and nothing about almost nothing. Ok, well almost anyway.
Update: I'm sick to death of the policies on images that Wikipedia has decided over the last year to foist on the site, and will no longer contribute on ANY level with image related issues. Copyleft does not have to be the complete absence of copyright - each has their place. By completely throwing away all copyrighted images (even those posted with permission from the holder), Wikipedia does a dis-service to us all. As a result, I've suspended ALL activity on Wikipedia. No corrections, no updates, no uploads, no edits. Make a mud pie, and I expect you all to eat it. Enjoy!
