Abobra is a genus of Cucurbitaceae family, consists of only one species Abobra tenuifolia (syn. Abobra viridiflora Naudin., Bryonia tenuifolia Hook. & Arn.), native to South America, sometimes cultivated as ornamental plants and also for its edible fruits, it is known as cranberry gourd.
