[edit] History
The company was founded in the UK, in 1985, and by the end of that decade, had over a quarter of a million registered users. The company's early success was demonstrated when it won the Barclays Bank British Micro Computing Award, in 1987. Migent Software originally created Ability for DOS, a later revision Ability Plus included a relational database that was quite remarkable. Many of the shortcuts involving Function Keys appear in Microsoft's early Works versions. Migent Software was just gone one day, just as if they packed everything and left with no forwarding address.
[edit] Software Awards/Reviews
Ability's flagship product has been the subject of many reviews by computer journalism magazines and websites.
