[edit] Hinduism - a conversion?

Perceval, thanks for the cleanup, but I edited the article to make quite clear that he did not really convert to Hinduism, and never disavowed his Christianity.--Ndaisley 09:33, 13 February 2007 (UTC)

That is my understanding, that Father Henri never converted to Hinduism. I can't recall if you noted in your text the Swami was a great contemplative.Menkbabe 03:10, 20 July 2007 (UTC)Menkbabe

Though Abhishiktananda went very far in making the experience of the Advaita, and in that way appeared unorthodox to quite a few Christians, it cannot be said that he converted to Hinduism. A proof, or quotation from his writings, would be needed to assert this. Besides, Hinduism as a religion, hardly accept the idea of a 'conversion'. Zerged 22:37, 1 November 2007 (UTC)
