[edit] Biography
Progressing from a concrete foundation of the heavy energy of hardcore, the speed of skate punk, and technical shredding guitarwork of metal, the band has evolved much over the years, especially after having been through many line-up changes. The songs are slightly progressive, and contain fast, palm-muted elements, pauses, metal solos, and aggressive energy. Vocals range from melodic to intense, dominating screaming. Most lyrics are more internal in context, playing as a positive release ranging from total hatred, emotional violence, angst, anger, depression, to preserverence, strength, growth, integrity, the scene, xenophobia, egocentrism, and just being fed-up with society, and concern about the state of the world today.
The band has been together since 1994 and has changed and grown musically, lyricly, and emotionally. A majority of its founding influence came from predecessing bands from Santa Cruz that they all grew up on.
