Abertawe Bro Morgannwg University NHS Trust

Abertawe Bro Morgannwg NHS University Trust (ABM) (Welsh: Ymddiriedolaeth Prifysgol GIG Abertawe Bro Morgannwg) is an NHS Trust in Wales. ABM covers Swansea, Neath Port Talbot, Bridgend county borough and the western part of Vale of Glamorgan. It was formed on the 1 April 2008 from the merger of Swansea NHS Trust and Bro Morgannwg NHS Trust. The present Chief Executive is Paul Williams.
ABM is the largest NHS trust in Wales. It:
- serves a population of around 600,000 people;[1]
- employs 16,000 staff;[2]
- has a budget of more than £770 million;[3]
- has four acute hospitals - Morriston, Singleton, Princess of Wales and Neath Port Talbot;[4]
- has 14 other hospitals or clinics with beds;[5]
- has 46 community clinics and health centres.[6]
Abertawe Bro Morgannwg is a designated university trust linked to Swansea University.[7]
