Aberffrwd railway station is a railway station serving Aberffrwd in Ceredigion in Mid-Wales. It is an intermediate station on the preserved Vale of Rheidol Railway, and is the location of the sole passing place on this single-track route, as well as a water-tower for the steam locomotives which work the route. The passing loop was removed by British Rail some years prior to closure, as an economy measure. However, this unbalanced the timetable and it was reinstated upon privatisation of the line.
