Aberdare Girls' School is a secondary school for girls aged 11-18 in the town of Aberdare, Rhondda Cynon Taf, Wales.
There are approximately 700 pupils on the school roll, of whom around 100 are in the sixth form. [1]
The school is on two sites : pupils in Year 7 and Year 8 are housed in Y Gadlys (Lower School), and those in Year 9 - Year 13 in Plasdraw (Upper School).
Pupils come mainly from Aberdare itself, but some travel from Glynneath, Treorchy and Mountain Ash.
