Aberbeeg railway station served the village of Aberbeeg in South Wales. It was the junction where the lines from Newport to Brecon and Ebbw Vale divided. Opened on the 21st of December 1850 by the Monmouthshire Railway, it was closed on the 30th of April 1962 by the British Transport Commission.
The mooted extension of the railway line to Abertillery would involve relaying the line from Aberbeeg.[1]
