[edit] name

Is his name actually "Abdullah Abdullah" or is his name "Abdullah", and the western media refers to him as "Abdullah Abdullah" so he can have separate first and last names? john 07:25 24 May 2003 (UTC)

He adopted the last name "Abdullah" himself so that he would have both a given name and a last name. - Efghij 19:56, Aug 24, 2003 (UTC)
Arrgh. Now you tell me. :) Would a sysop move this page to Abdullah Abdullah (currently a redirect)? DanKeshet 20:07, Aug 24, 2003 (UTC)

"Abdullah, who like many Afghanis uses only one name" [1] The CIA factbook also lists it as such: [2]. --Jiang 10:52, 22 Nov 2003 (UTC)
