Talk:Abdul Rahman Shalabi

I reverted three small edits.

I think this no doubt well-intentioned edit is not the best approach. I think that redirection is far, far more appropriate, in instances like this.

Wikis, like the wikipedia, share important characteristics with databases. It is possible to use a raw dump of a database. But it is orders of magnitude more work -- because a big fraction of the power of a database lies in the links, not the text. It is the same with a wiki.

The "what links here" button is a very powerful feature. It can tell you the different spellings used to get to the actual article -- provided someone doesn't come along and replace the actual spelling with a piped link.

Unless someone can offer an overwhelmingly good reason not to do so with Osama bin Laden bodyguard and bodyguard to Osama bin Laden, I would prefer to use redirection.
