Abdullah Shahab

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Abdullah Shahab is an Afghani whom American intelligence analysts believed has ties to terrorism. [1]

Shahab is a nephew of Gulbuddin Hekmatyar, the founder of Hezb-e-Islami Gulbuddin. The United States classifies Hezb-e-Islami Gulbuddin as a terrorist organization.

The Pajhwak Afghan News reports that the ICRC has delivered a letter from Shahab saying that he is being held at the Bagram detention facility. Shahab disappeared in the fall of 2005.
