Abdullah Abdulrahman is a journalist from the United Arab Emirates. He was one of the first writers and journalists to specialize on the collection of the folklore of the United Arab Emirates. he was born in Ras Al Khaimah in 1955 and worked for Al Ittihad newspaper from 1974-1998. he was one of the deputy editors in chief for the newspaper.

one of the most important contributions of the journalist is his documentation efforts of more than 300 old man in the UAE where he recorded their memories of the pre-oil era in the country in a series titled A Cup of Coffee which was published in books in the 1990s. he was also interested in documenting the history of different villages and towns within the country in weekly articles published under the name Nation Encyclopedia.

Currently, Abdullah works for Media CPR as the editor in chief.

He was granted many awards such as the emirates best book award in 1991 and the best documentary film award in 1987 TV and film festival in Dubai
