There are multiple individuals named Abdul Zahir.
An individual named Mullah Abdul Zahir was identified as a Taliban group leader, who was killed in an aerial bombardment.[1] American intelligence officials asserted that a precision missile had hit a vehicle carrying Mullah Akhtar Mohammad Osmani in mid-December 2006. A Taliban spokesman named Qari Yousef Ahmadi asserted that the airstrike in fact killed Abdul Zahir, and three other fighters.
