Abdul Salaam Mumini can be considered as the savior to the Ghana Film Industry which died down briefly after the exunt of the likes of Moro Yaro, Kwaw Ansah and the insurgence of the acclaimed Nollywood in the period of 1998-2000. His first film which brought attention back to the film in Ghana was God Loves Prostitutes which stared Nollywood superstar Genevieve Nnaji. Salaams Venus Film Production is responsible for the discovery of the likes of Van Vicker, Jackie Aygemang, Nadia Buari and the host of emerging others.
