Abdul Salaam (born Larry Faulk) was a defensive tackle with the New York Jets of the National Football League in the late 1970s and early 1980s. Along with fellow interior lineman Marty Lyons, and defensive ends Mark Gastineau and Joe Klecko, Salaam was part of The New York Sack Exchange, the Jets' feared defensive front-four that terrorized the NFL in the early 1980's.
