Abdollah Jasbi

Abdollah Jasbi (born 1944 Tehran) is an Iranian academic, conservative politician and president of Azad University, a mega university with 1.3 million enrollments.

Along with Iranian leader Ali Khamenei and Iranian president Hashemi Rafsanjani, Jasbi was a co-founder of Azad University network which is among the biggest NGOs in Iran. Jasbi was also a candidate in Iran's presidential election, but lost the election to President Khatami.

He hold a PhD degree in management from Birmingham University.
