[edit] Early years

Colberg was born and raised in San Juan, the capital of Puerto Rico. There he received his primary and secondary education. According to Colberg his parents were instrumental in developing his interest of sports and spirituality. As a child Colberg was into basketball, baseball and volleyball. When he was 11 years old, his friends were part the new rollerblading fever that was spreading throughout the island. Colberg's father, Puerto Rican television producer, Abdiel Colberg presented him with a new pair of "street" rollerblades. With those skates he learned to jump, roll, ride down hills and to do tricks.

It wasn't long before other people took notice of his talents. Isaac Oltmans, owner of Eulogy, signed him to a contract and took him to Escondido, California. There he was introduced to the rollerblade circuit and under the sponsorship of Eulogy participated in national and international competitions. Colberg has traveled the world representing Eulogy. Among the places in which he competed are in Ecuador in the Sudaca competition and in MI y TA celebrated in Puerto Rico.
