Abdalwadid

Abdalwadid is the name of a Berber Zenata dynasty in North Africa. The Abdalwadid kingdom with capital at Tlemcen, in what is now western Algeria, existed from 1236 to 1550. They were also called Zayyanid, Ziyyanid or Zianid (Arabic: زيانيون), so Zianides, Ziyyanides or Banu Zayan.
