From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Abdalian Cooperative Housing Society is one of the residential areas of Lahore, the capital of the province of Punjab in Pakistan. It is located near Johar Town and Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital and Research Centre.
Established in 1991 by the Alumni of Cadet College, Hasan Abdal, this is a well planned residential area broken into 2 parts. The bigger plots and the other part with smaller plots. The society supplies all the major amenities like drinking water, electricity, natural gas, telephone etc. The highlight of the area is the well planned plotting and road structure. Catchpole avenue (named after Hugh Catchpole) crosses the midsection and other smaller streets materialize from this main road. At the center of the society is a park with lush green lawns and a jogging track. The commercial center is also located near by.
It is located near Johar Town and Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital and Research Centre. Lahore’s Expo center is being built just some foot steps away along with the new campus for Pakistan School of Fashion Design.
