I like the alphebet song and big bird!!

[edit] /æbkəˈdɛfgɪʤəklmn̩ˈɔpkɚˈstuvwɪksɪz

Now all I need is something to tell me how to pronounce /æbkəˈdɛfgɪʤəklmn̩ˈɔpkɚˈstuvwɪksɪz (which it seems, my computer can't even paste for me when I copy it - how am I meant to copy big bird saying it?)

In the song it is pronounced:

Abb-kuh-deff-g(as in garment)ee-jickel-muhhnopp-kwer-stoo-vx-iz

Hope I could help :P Voretus the Benevolent 17:54, 22 May 2006 (UTC)

This song was originally performed before Carrol Spinney decided to perform Big Bird more a more sweet, innocent, and child-like demeanor. It is interesting to hear the difference, with a very goofy clowny sound in his voice and considerably rougher tone than most people expect to hear from Big Bird. There is a quote from Spinney about the change in performance style here: http://www.npr.org/templates/story/story.php?storyId=1249919
