ABCG2 is a member of the ATP-Binding Cassette Transporter family of transmembrane, substrate-effluxing proteins. Other names for ABGC2 have included BCRP (Breast Cancer Resistance Protein) and MXR (Mitoxantrone Resistance Protein).
