Oh, I was just curious to see as to why so many people had questions of Mexico if they were from there . . . hell, I'm not even there anymore and I know more about it than most people on Wikipedia . . .

[edit] Re: Jonatan Cerrada
You slapped a tag on the Jonatan Cerrada article I wrote yet you did not in discussion etc. place a reason why, please do not slap tags on articles without writing about them.
[edit] Re:RE: Jonatan Cerrada
Thank you for explaining the tag to me. The Jonatan Cerrada article (1st Created in November) was lacking more then a paragraph only recently have I added singles, albums etc.
[edit] On AMLO
I'm sorry to drag you into a POV dispute but it would be nice to have a couple extra eyes at Andrés Manuel López Obrador. An anon user has taken hold of the page and doesn't quite understand that the article should show a balance of opinions. I'm not sure, but maybe a protection of the page is in order? User:Asereje has already left the project because of this. Thanks. -- Rune Welsh | ταλκ 02:12, 13 January 2006 (UTC)

[edit] monterrey
Although I haven't heard the term myself, many tourist sites, as well as Encarta, use the nickname. [1], [2], [3]. Doing a google search reveals many results. Feel free to change it if you feel otherwise but cite sources if applicable. :) Gflores Talk 00:49, 14 February 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Image Tagging Image:Fundidora Mty.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:Fundidora Mty.jpg. I notice the 'image' page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you have not created this media yourself then you need to argue that we have the right to use the media on Wikipedia (see copyright tagging below). If you have not created the media yourself then you should also specify where you found it, i.e., in most cases link to the website where you got it, and the terms of use for content from that page.
If the media also doesn't have a copyright tag then you must also add one. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then you can use {{GFDL-self}} to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media qualifies as fair use, please read fair use, and then use a tag such as {{Non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair_use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.
If you have uploaded other media, please check that you have specified their source and copyright tagged them, too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any unsourced and untagged images will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Shyam (T/C) 14:09, 12 March 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Rizzo
Honestly, i'm not sure but both his parents have Italian surnames (Rizzo, Decanini). I believe the nick "El Griego" doesn't automatically make him Greek. There's a Mexican football player who's nickname is "El Gringo", but that doesn't make him of American descent. --- Lancini87 17:20, 15 March 2006 (UTC)

As a self-professed Wikipedian from Mexico, please help to find sources for Fresa (AfD discussion) in order to make a verifiable encyclopaedia article about the concept. See chav for how such articles should be sourced. Uncle G 12:06, 14 July 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Agrupaciones politicas nacionales
Hola! I saw you edited some pages recently so I assumed you may be able to check this out. Perhaps you remember the brief discussion we had on Wikipedia:WikiProject_Mexico/Community#Political_parties related to a bunch of stubs on political groups in Mexico. I created the article national political association as a catch-all for those articles that are indeed APNs but have no real prospect of ever being expanded. At the moment the debate centers on whether Socialist Convergence should be merged and redirected to the article I created or be a standalone article.
There's also one editor (User:Soman) that refuses to acknowledge IFEs authority when it comes to registration of political parties. He insists to use part of the definition at political party to call minor groups (some that are not even APNs) "parties".
In the meantime, I updated List of political parties in Mexico with the local parties too so as to avoid further argument in that camp. I hope you can chime in the ongoing discussion. Saludos -- Rune Welsh | ταλκ 09:01, 19 September 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Map of State Governments
Hola! yes, I created the map. I know that now it is outdated, it needs to be colored again to show the new governments. I need to investigate what Governors have already took office. In the case of Chiapas I know the PRD won. AlexCovarrubias ( Let's talk! ) 23:20, 27 December 2006 (UTC)

[edit] North America (Americas)
Hello:
I created the article North America (Americas), about the region of North America (Can, US, Mex) as taught in the single continent model in Latin America, some parts of Europe and Asia. This article was nominated for deletion.
Please read the discussion and express your free vote to keep it, to delete it or anything you consider propper. Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/North America (Americas) Thank you. AlexCovarrubias ( Let's talk! ) 14:35, 3 March 2007 (UTC)
[edit] State infoboxes
Is there a good reason for why the infobox for each state is not based on a template? A template would make the article "code" more legible and would make any future changes in apperances easier. For an exemple of quickly put together alternative see User:Lokal Profil/testmall./Lokal_Profil 19:56, 4 July 2007 (UTC)
- I dont think there is a good reason for that. Agree on using templates. Im now adding the name of the 3 senators by state.. if you are working on creating a template pls consider that im currently adding the name of the senators (and its policial party) in the templates. [edit] Disputed fair use rationale for Image:Logotipo Alianza por el Bien de Todos.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:Logotipo Alianza por el Bien de Todos.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot (talk) 06:56, 1 January 2008 (UTC)
