I do not know how to send a personal message so here goes:

your facts are not correct due to the fact that you cited a fact with something from your own site, which of course would bias your opinion. Furthermore your studies will only benefit a certain group of people because although it is classified as one dialect, Taishanese, Taishanese also includes minor differences and therefore one common dictionary or study on it will not be accurate. Furthermore you should not base your findings on Kaiping dialect just because you grew up with that because of the fact that Kaiping and Taishan dialects are not the same. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Hoisanpride (talk • contribs)

Salut, Aaron. Don't know if you're around these days, but I'd love for you to venture an opinion in Talk:Taishan dialect on whether the initial consonant in "lhaam" (three) is a voiceless alveolar fricative or not. (How many times do you get asked that question in a week? :-) Waitak 05:22, 23 November 2006 (UTC)
