Y'know, I really don't think there was a consensus about doing this, although there may be a Wikipedia-wide movement in this direction for all I know. Frankly, I'm not at all sure the TV movie is notable enough to merit a full article. The main points of interest have to do with its divergence from the book and the fact that L'Engle turned down many previous attempts to make a film of it. Hmm.
