The singer/songwriter, Lara Fabian's second English effort and sixth studio album, "A Wonderful Life" lacked promotion and disputes over creative direction caused the album to fail in sales and rendered it unable to make an impression on the pop charts in Europe. The album was never released in the United States, much to the dismay of her fans. In France the album sold an estimated 82,000 copies. "A Wonderful Life" became her last album for Sony Records since she left the company.
