I got the impression from the episode that she was very much aware that Robin was watching her. So which one is it?

No, I think she didn't know.. Or else she wouldn't have done it..? She would probably have looked sheepish and put it back in the fire if she had known. Robin was grinning because he didn't really want to burn the book anyway, he was just persuaded by the others.

I wrote the summary, but I wasn't quite sure about the end either. The BBC's episode recap says that she didn't know he was looking. So I went with that. -Mamalovesmambo
