Other information This is the cover of the original paperback edition of A Talent for War published in the US in February 1989. The cover art is listed as by Darrell K. Sweet. The book is copyright 1989 by the author, Jack McDevitt; there is no separate copyright notice for the cover art or cover design. This edition is out of print. The 2004 paperback edition (which is in print) bears a similar but not identical cover. Therefore, this exact image is not now being used commercially and using it to illustrate an article in Wikipedia will not deprive the creator of commercial opportunities.
