"A Teenager in Love" is a song written by Doc Pomus and partner, Mort Shuman and originally sung by Dion and the Belmonts. In 1960 "A Teenager In Love" held three positions in the British Top 10.[1] The song is considered one of the greatest songs in Rock and Roll history.[2]
It reached #5 on the Billboard pop charts.
This song was covered in 2002 by the Red Hot Chili Peppers, and was released as a B-Side to the single By The Way.
