A Summer to Die is a novel written by Lois Lowry, which was her first novel. It was about a young girl, Meg, and her sister, Molly. Just like regular sisters they fight over silly little things. Molly is pretty and popular, and Meg is envious. But when Molly gets a strange illness, soon to die, Meg is confused why Molly has to be the one to die when she was perfect.Before molly died she told Meg to tell Ben and Maria, their neighbors, not to have their baby before she gets home.
