A Stranger's Heart is a 2007 made-for-TV movie story of two people who are given a second chance at life after they each undergo heart transplant surgery. Starring Samantha Mathis as Callie, Peter Dobson as Jasper, Thomas Kopache as Duds, Gina Hecht as Darlene, Kevin Kilner as Doc Jackson and Mary Matilyn Mouser as Cricket. RHI Entertainment presents “A Stranger’s Heart,” an Alpine Medien Production in association with Larry Levinson Productions. Randy Pope and Lincoln Lageson are producers. Andy Wolk directed from a screenplay by Kelli Pryor. It premiered on May 5.

Callie, a workaholic magazine editor who prides herself on having no emotional attachments in her life, changes practically overnight when she undergoes a life-saving heart transplant operation. Not only does Callie find herself strangely drawn to a young girl who happens to be the heart donor’s orphaned daughter, but she also finds unlikely romance with another patient who also recently received a new heart. The man she falls in love with received the heart from her donor's husband.
