[edit] Plot summary

Amuro is discussing the use of the G-Armor to form the G-Sky, G-Easy and G-Bull. Kai says he has to go to the bathroom and leaves the room. Amuro requests for more parts to General Revil. At the end of the meeting, Revil wishes good luck to the crew on their trip to Jaburo. Amuro and Bright see Kai leaving the ship shortly afterwards.

Amuro admits he doesn’t like Kai, but can’t believe he’s leaving. Kai says he’s reached his limit and that he doesn’t like military formalities. Bright says he’s a coward. Amuro gives Kai his toolbox before he leaves so he could trade it for money.

As Kai is walking through the city he runs into Miharu. She offers him lodging in her house along with her younger brother and sister. At the house, he eats dinner along with Miharu and the children. When he’s left alone, he discovers a gun in her basket of trinkets, upsetting him. When Miharu returns he tells her that White Base has engine troubles and will be leaving the dock soon; Miharu is confused by this information freely given to her. Kai says it must be difficult for her to get by raising her brother and sister by herself.

Kai falls asleep and Miharu leaves the house to relay the information to Flanagan Boone. Char orders him to have her infiltrate White Base. Boone leaves in a Sealance and returns to the Mad Angler. Boone’s submarine sends out the Z’Gok (a new amphibious MS) and the remaining Gogg. The Mad Angler fires missiles as decoy and the Federation forces fire antisubmarine missiles. A Zeon operative leaves the sub on a small speedboat to rendezvous with Miharu.

Sayla sorties in the G-Fighter and rips through the wall of the dock. Amuro takes off in the Gundam and jumps onto the G-Fighter.

Kai watches the battle from afar and decides to leave. He asks the children where Miharu went. They lie to him and say she is shopping. Miharu meets the Zeon agent. He tells her that her mission is to infiltrate White Base and discover its destination. He gives her a Federation uniform and pays her in gold. Miharu decides to accept the mission for the sake of her siblings. She returns home and tells the children she will be gone for some time. She gives them the gold to buy food. She promises that when she returns they’ll move somewhere far away from war.

As Kai observes the battle in the outskirts of Belfast he wonders why he’s still worried about the ship. Amuro goes underwater to fight the Gogg while Sayla attacks the submarines. Hayato is attacked by the Z’Gok as soon as he launches. The Z’Gok destroys one of Hayato’s cannons. Kai has enough and decides to return to the ship on a motorcycle. Kai then mans the Guntank.

Amuro destroys the Gogg and rushes to Hayato’s aid. Kai attacks the Z’Gok with the Guntank, but the Z’Gok tries to slam the Guncannon into the ocean. However, he is saved by Amuro.

The Z’Gok jumps into the water and Amuro pursues. Meanwhile, Miharu runs through the town and gets into White Base unnoticed due to the heat of the battle.

The Z’Gok jumps out of the water. However Kai was waiting for it and shoots it at a very close range. Amuro finishes it off by slicing the Z’Gok in half destroying it. Char is informed the destruction of both mobile suits and that Miharu has successfully boarded the ship. He orders Boone to keep in contact with the spy to fulfill the mission. Later on, the White Base takes off for the Federation Forces HQ in Jaburo.
