[edit] Your recent edits

Hi there. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. If you can't type the tilde character, you should click on the signature button Image:Signature_icon.png located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you! --SineBot (talk) 13:58, 11 March 2008 (UTC)

[edit] TextForge

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article TextForge, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page. Also, please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. If you agree with the deletion of the article, and you are the only person who has made substantial edits to the page, please add {{db-author}} to the top of TextForge. - CobaltBlueTony™ talk 20:02, 13 March 2008 (UTC)

[edit] March 2008

Please do not add content without citing reliable sources, as you did to The Legend of Zelda (series). Before making potentially controversial edits, it is recommended that you discuss them first on the article's talk page. If you are familiar with Wikipedia:Citing sources please take this opportunity to add references to the article. Contact me if you need assistance adding references. Thank you. Neverquick (talk) 19:35, 14 March 2008 (UTC)

Please stop. If you continue to vandalize pages, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. --Bradeos Graphon Βραδέως Γράφων (talk) 20:21, 14 March 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Wikilinks

There are actual rules for making wikilinks, unlike the way you added a wikilink in G. K. Butterfield. Many words have more than one meaning, and thus mindlessly and haphazardly wikilinking a word without taking two seconds to check it first might take you to an article that has nothing to do with the article that contains the link. That's what happened when you made the link [[Lenai]] in reference to Lenai Butterfield. It doesn't go to any article about Lenai Butterfield; in fact, there is no article about her. Instead it takes you to redirect, which has absolutely nothing to do with Lenai Butterfield. Wikipedia can't read your mind and figure out what you're trying to do. And if there is no article to which you wikilink, it doesn't just magically appear after you add the brackets. Please stop adding wikilinks until you have read Help:Link. You're just creating a mess that the rest of us have to clean up. Ward3001 (talk) 20:07, 26 March 2008 (UTC)

where do you think, the name came from?
First of all, you have no idea how the Butterfield family decided to give her that name or whether it had anything to do with the subject of your link; if you think you know, you need to provide a source; otherwise it's original research. And secondly, if we linked every word to its origin, Wikipedia would be a huge mass of confusion. If someone clicks a wikilink, he is expecting to find out more information about the person, object, or concept that is linked. If I'm reading the article on George W. Bush and see that his daughter Jenna is wikilinked and click it, I want to read about Jenna Bush, not about the origin or the name Jenna or all the other meanings that word has. If someone clicks Lenai in the Butterfield article, he finds out nothing about Lenai Butterfield. The article is not about word or name origins. It's about Butterfield. Let's please use a little common sense. Please, please read Help:Link and WP:LINK before creating any more wikilinks so the rest of us don't have to clean up after you. Thank you. Ward3001 (talk) 01:49, 27 March 2008 (UTC)
as you like to clean, feel free. you're welcome.
I don't like to clean, but I care enough about Wikipedia to not leave junk in it deposited by someone else. And after an editor adds enough junk and gets enough requests to stop, I generally get them blocked. Ward3001 (talk) 18:18, 27 March 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Palisades Center

Hi. Please do not add unsourced personal observations to articles, as you did to Palisades Center. Doing this is a violation of Wikipedia's core policies. Please look through those policies for help in editing more constructively to this site. If you need any help with this, let me know. Thank you. Nightscream (talk) 01:39, 1 April 2008 (UTC)

Please refrain from creating inappropriate pages such as War-torn. It is considered vandalism. If you would like to experiment, use the sandbox. NawlinWiki (talk) 14:34, 7 April 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Blocked for 3 hours

Your recent edits to grappling hold (diff) and nuclear export signal (diff) have been blatant vandalism. As a result, you have been temporarily blocked from editing. When the block expires, you are welcome to continue to make constructive contributions; further vandalism will result in longer blocks being applied. -- The Anome (talk) 18:24, 10 April 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Deliberately adding incorrect information

This is the last warning you will receive for your disruptive edits.
The next time you deliberately introduce incorrect information, as you did here, you will be blocked from editing. Ward3001 (talk) 00:36, 11 April 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Self-redirects

Please don't create self-redirects, as you did here. It's pointless to create a wikilink that goes back to the same article that contains the link, it's frustrating to the reader, and it's a waste of Wikipedia resources. Ward3001 (talk) 20:54, 28 April 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Notability of Christina Carter

A tag has been placed on Christina Carter requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article appears to be about a real person, organization (band, club, company, etc.), or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable. If this is the first page that you have created, then you should read the guide to writing your first article.

If you think that you can assert the notability of the subject, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the article (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm the subject's notability under Wikipedia guidelines.

For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Ecoleetage (talk) 04:07, 30 May 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:Jpbbad.jpg

Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:Jpbbad.jpg. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. —  scetoaux (T|C) 04:42, 8 June 2008 (UTC)
