"A Message" is a song by the English alternative rock band Coldplay, and is the eighth track on their 2005 album, “X&Y.” It was written by the members of the band, Guy Berryman, Jonny Buckland, Will Champion, and Chris Martin. The main instrument used in the song is guitar, and doesn’t feature any synthesizers, as other songs on the album do, such as “Talk.” [1]
“A Message” was not released as a single, and according to iTunes, it is the 29th most downloaded Coldplay song. The song was released with “X&Y” in 2005.
Also according to an interview with MTV Chris Martin wrote the song while naked in the middle of the night. All members deny being with him at the time.
