From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Malcolm X: A Life of Reinvention is a forthcoming (2009), 10 year in the making, biography of Malcolm X by professor Manning Marable.

As well as being the most researched book on Malcolm X, it not only goes over again the life and transformation of Malcolm but also discusses in-depth three missing chapters of the Alex Haley biography of Malcolm X.

It also includes new information on his assassination, his plans to unite the Civil Rights and Black Nationalist Movements, and Alex Haley's relationship with the FBI.
