"A Love Before Time" was the end-credit title song of the movie Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon. The song was nominated for Academy Award for Best Song in 2000. It was written by Jorge Callandelli, Tan Dun (music), James Schamus (lyrics), and was performed by Coco Lee. Coco Lee performed the song live at the Academy Award ceremony in 2001. The Chinese language version of the song is called: 月光爱人 (Simplified Chinese) Yuè Guāng Ài Rén (Moonlight Lover).
