A Long December is a single by the American rock band Counting Crows. It is the thirteenth track on their second album Recovering The Satellites (1996). The song peaked on the U.S. Hot Modern Rock Tracks at number five.
The video for the song featured Courtney Cox, whom Adam Duritz had also dated. It was used in a 2006 episode of the TV series Cold Case.
