"A Life of Arctic Sounds" is a 1996 single by Modest Mouse.
[edit] Track listing
- "A Life of Arctic Sounds" – 2:29
- "Medication" – 5:01
The 7" was pressed on white vinyl. In the track listing of Building Nothing Out of Something, "A Life of Arctic Sounds" is misspelled as "A Life of Artic Sounds". This song is notable for being one of the few Modest Mouse songs that includes an unusual time signature: The second verse is in 7/4 time.
Both songs later appeared on the Building Nothing Out of Something compilation album and were left unreleased elsewhere.
