Dogwood: A Journal of Poetry and Prose

Dogwood: A Journal of Poetry and Prose is a national literary journal affiliated with the English Department at Fairfield University in Fairfield, Connecticut. Kim Bridgeford, an award-winning poet and Professor of English, is the Editor.

Dogwood was founded in 2001, and it is published once a year in the spring. For the winning poem and short work of fiction, it offers prizes of $1,000 each. Past judges have included Robert Pinsky, Mark Jarman, Jay Parini, and A. Manette Ansay.

Dogwood is distinctive in that it is the only national literary journal staffed by undergraduate students.
